iOS Calendar App in 3 Minutes or Less (video)
How do you organize your appointments, update your agenda, plan events, and keep on time with your iPhone and iPad? The built-in Calendar app, of course!
That being said, I wanted to give you a quick overview of Apple’s built-in Calendar app interface and features…
…and the best way to do that is by showing you.
Check out my 3 minute Calendar app overview video.
The Calendar app lets you can create and edit appointments, invite friends and colleagues to events, get alerted, organize your time, and stay on track!
You can set up the Calendar app to work with Apple’s iCloud, Google Calendar, Microsoft’s Outlook, and other calendaring services that support CalDAV (allows you to connect your calendar to another calendar service).
Go to http://modernsmile.com/events/cablevision-health-fair Settings app > http://vintagegoodness.com/ Accounts & Passwords setting > Add Account option to connect to another calendar service.
Since iOS has a unified calendar database, whatever you add or change in the Calendar app will also be reflected in any third-party calendars you have added, and vice-versa.
Plus, thanks to Siri, you can add, review, and even change appointments quickly and easily with the power of your voice.
If you are using the Calendar app with a calendar service other than Apple’s iCloud (ex: Google), you can make that service your default calendar in the Settings app > Calendarsetting > Default Calendar option. This will allow Siri to interact with your non-iCloud calendar service. Very helpful and convenient.
