http://dardogallettostudios.com/blog/2014/07/29/tango-workshop-with-walter-perez-leonardo-sardella-sat-aug-23/ CUSTOMER QUESTION – How can I have large files (recordings or other files) from Evernote stored on my desktop version but not take up space on my iPhone? There has to be a way, since I get 10GB a month and if I filled it, my iPhone would be full in a matter of just a couple of months.
ANSWER – Your iPhone (an Android phone) doesn’t store Evernote files (your computer is the only device that does)…it just caches them.
That being said, on mobile devices, you can assign Notebooks to be”Offline Notebooks.” With Offline Notebooks, Evernote allows you to continue making progress on projects, anywhere. Whether you’re on a plane or in a spot that doesn’t have internet, you can review and edit notes within an offline Notebook for upcoming meetings.
The next time you connect to the Internet, your Offline Notebook (and its Note files) is synced to your Evernote account.
Offline Notebooks are currently available to customers with Evernote Plus, Premium, or Evernote Business accounts.
