Black Friday – Keep Track of All the Best Apple Deals
(iPads, iPhones, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Macs, iTunes Gift Cards)
In the US, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 25th), noted as the first day of traditional Holiday shopping, during which crowds of consumers are drawn to special offers by retailers.
Since the majority of my subscribers are Apple users, I thought I’d share a fantastic resource that you can use to track Black Friday deals on Apple products (and some other related products).
The web site I like to follow to keep track of Black Friday deals (and deals throughout the year) is MacRumors.com. Not only do they provide Black Friday deal information, but they share deals prior to and beyond. In fact, they have a handy Black Friday Timeline that shares deal offerings by specific dates.
No, I am not associated with this web site in any way, I just like to follow it to keep tabs on deals. <== Who doesn’t love a bargain!
Black Friday iPad Deal Summary
buy disulfiram in australia Save up to $150 on iPad Pro 9.7-inch
Looking through the iPad deals, it looks like (as of today Nov. 21), the best deals for iPad Pro 9.7-inch is a savings of $150 off retail at Target (that’s an incredible buy for anyone looking to upgrade their iPad).
With the discount, the entry-level 32GB Wi-Fi only iPad Pro 9.7-inch model is available for $449.
Keep in mind, pricing discounts may very by the iPad Pro configuration (ex: 32GB, 128GB, 256GB or WiFi vs WiFi/Cellular Data). Make sure you pay attention to the configurations before making your purchase. Many times Black Friday deals are limited to Black Friday only — meaning if you want to exchange a purchase for another model/configuration, you may not get the discounted price on the exchange. <== that would be a bummer!
Some retailers are offering gift cards up to $150 instead of applying the discount directly to the iPad price.
Malampaka Deals on other iPad Models
I saw the iPad Air 2 models are discounted by $129.99, while iPad mini 2 models are discounted by $70.20. The iPad Air 2 will start at $274, while the iPad mini 2 will start at $199.79.
Online stores provide discounts too
Although many of the deals are available at physical stores, online stores also provide great discounts and sometimes free shipping during Black Friday. Sites like Ebay, Amazon, OWC and MacMall want to get into the action too and sometimes will provide even greater discounts.
Deals extend past iPads
If you are looking to purchase the new Apple TV, iPhone 7 or 6S, Apple Watch, or maybe a new Mac iMac or MacBook, there are fantastic deals on these devices as well. Scroll through the MacRumors Black Friday Tracker page to locate deals on your favorite Apple devices.
For example, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart are all offering a free $250 gift card to their respective stores with the purchase of an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus on an eligible device payment plan.
Kohl’s will be offering one of the best deals on an Apple Watch Series 2 model. There’s no discount, but the store is planning on offering $105 in Kohl’s cash to customers who make a purchase on Black Friday.
Other sites that track Apple deals
There are many different sites that track Black Friday deals on Apple products. Sometimes I like to verify a discount I saw or possibly find a deal I haven’t seen yet. That being said, checkout these other sites for Apple Black Friday discount summaries:
Black Friday Shopping Apps
For those of you who want to be notified about deals as soon as the break, you might want to consider downloading a Black Friday Shopping app. These apps provide alerts on new deals and offer new store ads that can be saved into customized lists. Many apps also allows users to share their favorite sales and discount announcements via social media platforms.
Don’t forget, many of your favorite retailers provide Black Friday deal updates through their own app.
I personally don’t have a favorite app to recommend, so search the App Store for ‘Black Friday’ and read the reviews and ratings of each app offered.
Good Advice
Keep in mind, Black Friday deals may be limited. So, be advised to monitor sales and shop early!
There you go! With this knowledge you can take advantage of some fantastic Apple Black Friday deals and save some money. I wish you many happy returns with your Black Friday shopping, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
